Weather in Peru
The Peruvian seasons are a reverse of those in the northern hemispheres. This means that summer for example is in December to February while winter comes in July to September. Anytime that you want to visit Peru is a good time and you are advised to go there whenever you have the time as both ways, the stay is very enjoyable.
However, if you want to enjoy the Peruvian coasts, you can visit in the summer and if you want to enjoy the skiing and the mountains, then winter is the appropriate time for you to visit Peru. Depending on where you want to visit in Peru, you can time your visit to coincide with certain weather. For example, to visit the jungle region, the best time is the dry season as then there are no mosquitoes. The weather is great for tourism.
